Standard Finished Goods Item Process

For this exercise we are going to setup a standard finished good item, create a quote, convert to an invoice, and receive a return.

Start by creating a basic finished good. Set Virtual and Varriant to N. Set a couple of options in Measures and set all options under Miscellaneous to Y.

Create Product

Create Employee is just what it says.

Create Prospect & Customer are the same screens. These are great as you can enter full user name, address, and phone numbers but you also must create a userId and password. UserId and password in my opinion is a hole that could be exploited. Not sure about this. It might be better to just create a New Person as it only requires First Name and Last Name.

You need to create a customer in order to create a quote.
